Since I haven't gotten my laptop yet I've been so bad at bloging. So prepare to see a novel here!
Okay well Saturday hahah perhaps that should be a blog itself! I met up with Simon and his sister. Basically we wanted to just get a feeling of the place so we walked around. Didn't take long til we saw some street perfomers. Singing, dancing, martial art act. I really have to get my computer so I can upload pictures! Really cool and feels like the korean are enjoying themself and can make fun of any situation. For some reason the street performing made us crave for a beer so we walked to the bar district of Hondae. Funny thing is on our way there we where interviewed about what we think about the korean drinking culture. At that point I could cross of "Sound like an idiot on national TV" of my to-do list. Then it was of to Big Mama! lots of beer and the bartender was so sweet. We got some shots as a welcome to Korea! And yeah I have to point out that Koreans might be the friendliest people in the world. Me and Simon where on our way to the immigration office yesterday. And we looked a little confused for about 10 sec and an older gentleman walks up to us and asks if we need any help. Just a little side note. Okay back to Big Mama, after we've taken some beer we decided to keep going to another bar. We stand outside what looks like a shitty little night club. We walk inside and it was this huuuge pub inside. Orders three beers and three soju, (we where expecting it to be a shot since the price was ridicoulsy cheapm but no we get three bottles of soju). At this point we figured we have to drink it up. At this point I can assure you that I wasn't even close to being sober. And a hint to you guys who are reading this, Polish/Finnish people can drink. Meaning that I realized that food and water is needed. Thanks to Korea there is streetfood everywhere during the night. During this entire night we have walked passed four Ho bar. So our drunken minds made the wise decision to go to Ho bar number II. I think... Either way we met some really awesome people there we where able to take some really awefull pictures!! Or maybe I should just hid whenever a camera is near my drunken ass. So that was Saturday. That was the fun part
Now Sunday. Moving in day. -Yuck. Okey so my dorm wasn't as bad as some others. But seriously that was the most tiniest room and washing my laundry would only make the clothes more dirty... So now I'm moving out to my own appartment which is really nice. The rent is much higher but it's gonna be worth it! Live right by the metro station and a short busride away from school. I just have to tell you, if I live on campus I have to take the bus as well. The campus is sooooo huge. And it's on a mountain. So walking anywhere is going to be the death of me. But I do have to say the campus might be the most beautiful place I've ever seen. Everything is so green and so peaceful. And did I mention it was huge! I just have to say it one more time so you can try to realize the size!
I'm pretty sure I've missed a lot to tell you. But I have to say this (for my Omma(mom)). My korean has gotten a lot better!! Even for just have been here for five days!
Lots of love to you guys!!

Haven't woken up from the dream yet
Hahahah sooooo yeaaaaah! Sorry for not uploading pictures but I've had some trouble getting my ass to a computer. So right now I'm over at my cousins place and using her computer. It didnt make it all that much easier. Everything is in korean but I feel kind of proud that I am blogging or that I have managed to change the typing from korean letters to english hehe (if you ever face that problem there is a button on the keyboard where you switch, the button is in korean so just try everybutton and you'll find it). But pictures are probably coming up tomorrow!
So what have I been doing so far? Well my cousin and my aunt picked me up at the airport and took me to a family run korean restaurant. My god sooo good food! (I'm expecting to gain 20 kg in the next few months) and well after that we got to "my" appartment which I'm staying in til tomorrow, that's when I get to move in to the dorm! So basically I just tried to get a feeling of the town and then I met up with some really nice exchange students. Feels like I'm off to a great start. I just keep expecting to wake up from this dream. And yes it's really hot here. Jenna I know I should complain but I can't be outside during the day! Praise the guy who invented the aircon!
Fun thing is though a lot of people actually try to communicate with you in english despite that I wouldn't really call it english. But still fun! And the cutest thing is that one of my cousins daughter is so fascinated by me. She is like 8 years old I think. In the beginning she just kept staring at me, and no I don't mean she is hidding behind a corner looking at me. She was literally standing 40 cm infront of me and just kept staring. Then she says something in korean that I don't understand. She must think I'm such an idiot for not being able to speak korean. And when I do speak korean I know that I sound like such a retard so I don't know which is better.
Allright! Well then, I have to try to get too the immigration office on monday since basically you are screwed if you don't have a foreign registration card. Can't open a bank account and can't get a cellphone. I feel so disconnected to the world. But I think I'm going out to lunch with my other two cousins now, at least that's what I think they said... I really need to improve my korean... Oh yeah if you're courious only one of my cousins speaks english. And she has been my rock so far! She's is only in korea for two more weeks then well stayed tuned!

The Seoul searching begins!
I'm at the airport and I think it's finally starting to catch up with me. But no tears... Yet. But I'm impressed that my mom despite how nervous she was she held it together. And now I think I'm getting nervous. I just can't stop smiling! Finally I'm on my way! Yaaaay!!
First attempt
I am actually giving this a shot. Had a blog a while back but it turned out wasn’t really my thing. See how this goes…
Okay so background info why I'm blogging? Naah don’t really feel like its necessary, I think. If you’re on my blog for the first time, try to see it as a riddle!
But yeah basically I’ve been packing all day and took care of some errands. Yeah it was as boring as it sounds. But I got to celebrate my brother’s birthday! Last day in Sweden and it felt kind of good being with my family and just have a nice time. Bianca came over a little bit later so exchange some makeup. Okay I gave her tons of makeup (yes I am a makeup junkie, and I will never stop) and she gave me a lovely mascara which she had three of. And then to the heartbreaking moment when she “slapped” me in the face and made me realize that I am actually leaving in 13 hours.
Bianca making her asian pose for me |
Me: Can’t believe I’m moving in 25 hours
Bianca: Uhhm you know it’s like 13 hours, right?
Me: ….. shit

Me: ….. shit
But seriously gonna miss soooo many friends of mine. Thank you all so much who were able to be there at Bauer to say goodbye! Can’t believe how many of you guys who made it. You guys really made me feel like it’s a big part of Stockholm that I’m gonna miss!
Well then again I’m moving on to new adventures and I know that I’m gonna have an amazing time where ever I go!! But for now watch out Seoul, I’m coming!
